Anybody catch the error last night on LOST?

I may be wrong because I haven't been able to see the show again...but....

When Locke goes up to his father in the Mercedes and see's him for the first time since his death, his father threatens him if he doesn't get the money. He says something like, "If you don't bring the money, Helen is dead".

Later in the episode when Locke arrives at the hotel to give his father the money, his father says, "does the special lady have a name?" Locke replies, "Helen".

Why would his father ask what her name was if he already had mentioned it beforehand. Error on the editors?

Anyone else catch this?

Most likely its not some glaring error - the editors will pull some answer out of their magic bag ala Felix and all will be made clear some five episodes from now.

speaking of errors, last night's black and white had a terrible editing error. When the son was in the barbershop getting his hair cut, they keep cutting from showing his hair to the barber cutting his hair while he was giving the kid a lecture. However, if you looked carefully, his head (on the right side) would go from shaved, to unshaved, to shaved, to unshaved, and so on. It looked like they were trying to dub in audio of the lecture but they used the wrong video at the wrong times. It was hilarious.

Or you could read my post, where I said "Even if he had said", which implies that he didn't.

I heard it as Helen is dead as well, but the wife heard the I'll understand.

I guess you hear what you want to hear. Judging by his character I figured that is something that he would say.

I can understand why someone would hear "Helen is dead" because Iff you leave out the Eye part of I'll, it sound like L-UN (Helen) derstand said can sould like is dead.

BTW, that arab lady that locke was working for is Sayid's girlfriend.
