It's actually pretty damn slick and nothing like Wave or Buzz.

Yeah, tried it today. The interface is really cool. I'm going to recommend it to the family when it's released.

My favorite aspect from the announcement is the Circle feature. It's something that I've really wanted in Facebook for awhile, and I thought Groups might provide that capability. Sadly, Groups are literally just a private wall and such for a defined set of people, rather than being something completely on your own end .

It reminds me more of TinyChat. You can setup rooms and people can come in and chat via text, mic and/or webcam.

Technically someone can show off their genitals via TinyChat, but like normal chat rooms, there are moderators (that can ban). I've only been on it once, and it seemed decent, but still kind of obscure.

Although, I wonder how exactly the Google one works... it seems more like a web version of Skype (which I believe can do multi-person video conferencing).
