I have a feeling I am really a lefty but I was raised to be right handed. I favor my left hand for basically everything except writing and my hand writing is extremely poor in my right hand unless I use cursive. I also hold my pen/pencil like a left handed person only with my right hand.

It works out pretty well because I play guitar and my left hand does most of the work so I am very quick with it. I also play piano and can drive a good rhythm very easily.

I think I was destined to be a lefty too. I started out lefty for basic stuff in pre-school. At the beginning of 1st grade I would use my left hand at the chalk board but then broke my left arm and was in a cast for 8 weeks. And then immediately after that I broke my left collar bone and was crippled up again for another 6 weeks.

I went from using my left hand for a lot of stuff to using my right hand due to injury.

My hand writing has always been beyond attrocious as well.

Im not in the true sense ambidextrous. I write and eat with my left hand, and I play all sports right handed.

A lot of "lefties" are like this

Same here except that I bat lefty.

I'm left handed pretty much except for throwing.
Though I can drink, bat, or bowl with either hand.

There was a time when I bowled left-handed most of the time, but I grew out of that as a teenager. I have a bad right shoulder so I have been contemplating trying to learn how to throw/bowl left-handed. Talk about teaching an old dog new tricks!

I generally play racquet sports (tennis, racquetball, badminton) left-handed, however, I find that, most of the time, I use both forehands and no backhand in tennis. (The first time I played tennis with my now father-in-law he was getting really pissed that he seemingly could not hit to my backhand. It took a few games for him to figure it out.)

I am right handed except use my left hand to wipe.... it's actually way better at that than my right hand!

I can mouse with my left hand...
writing is horrible
I can steer or eat with my left hand no problem (except chopsticks)

I can fap with either but some times my left hand gets tired so I have to switch

I do everything with my right hand. If I try to write with my left, I write everything backwards.

Funny you should mention that, I prefer to shoot pistols left-handed, but rifles right-handed. I am left-eye dominant.

Is anyone on this planet equally adept with using both hands? Isn't that what the true meaning of ambidextrous requires?

Anyway, I would say i use both hands in equal amounts. One hand is precision, the other hand is power. Left handed for pool, darts, frisbee, eating, writing...

Right hand for batting, swinging, throwing, punching...etc.

My grandpa bought me left handed clubs as a kid, and he had to trade them in cause I couldnt get use to them. I have found that after playing ping pong for years (grew up with it) I became almost equally good if not better using it in my left hand within 1 day of playing.

When I play tennis, I found that I got better after switching to a left handers style because backhanded shots felt more natural and I had more control doing forehand shots with my left. This was also after trying to play like a righty for months.

I can't throw left handed, or swing a club left handed to save my life. Though I guess I can do it better than the average joe. I also am much more adept at left handed layups than right ones, but shoot right handed for all my shots.

As I write this, i realize I am a freak.

You shoot rifles with your right hand but your left eye dominant?

Unfortunately, yes.

Fortunately, I have been able to compensate (though I have not gone shooting in a long time).

LOL. I keep thinking of things:

I use to mouse left-handed, but I moved in with three righties and we all shared a computer. I got tired of moving the mouse, so I learned to mouse right-handed.

I'm a righty who learned to write with his left hand simply because, at the time, it annoyed the nuns and annoying them was oddly satisfying. I still write with my left hand to this day.

My dad, who is left-handed, had his left hand tied behind his back in grammar school until my grandfather got wind of it.

I am. It's quite neat, actually. I can write with both hands at the same time, and I can do it so the writing mirrors itself (write forwards with one hand, backwards with the other.)

I'm not a freak, I swear...
