I had mine set up to forward to another account, but I didn't do it through a webmail page..was somewhere in the hosting control panel or something.

That lady is just plain dumb.

I can certainly find reasons to recommend a different host in certain situations but that article just makes my head hurt. "5 reasons you should leave GoDaddy and how". I'm curious where that info is, because it certainly wasn't in that article. That article is just filled with vague feelings and hyperbole.

Yes - I have godaddy email that forwards to another email. In the email control center (where you see your email address, you can click "edit" then click the option to cc: another email account upon receipt of any new email.
