I bought this at 11. It is on back order. Sales guy said it might be two weeks before I might get it. The links were all dead but I was able to find it on the site. Currently the only way to see anything is through this link Link
and clicking the buy button. It's showing up as 160. The sales guy at 11 let me have it for 130, but the page was still up with the cheaper price. Does anybody have an opinion on my chances of getting my rebate?

I bought this exact ram from Outpost at Christmas and I really like it, but be careful because it defaults to CAS3 I think, but it is easily changed to CAS2 in the bios with no problems, atleast on my MB ( Asus A8V Deluxe ), just so you know to check the timings after installing...

Are those timings for real on that RAM? Sounds like hell of a deal, sucks that I missed out. I saw the deal before but thought it was Value RAM.

Hmm. Do I have that backwards, is the "A" in the model number indicative of CAS2? I think that the default (non-"A") model number timings are CAS2.5, I thought that "A" was CAS3. Oops. It seems that "A" means CAS3 for KVR, but does not for KHX, my sincere apologies. Looks like the "A" doesn't actually have any specific meaning anymore, and you have to look up the exact model number now to verify which model you have.

I just checked my order tracking, and it has shown up as $159.99 on the invoice with $7.21 shipping ($167.20) total.

The guy over the phone said he would manually put it in at $139.99, however online it says I am being charged for $159.99.

anyone know whats up with that?

I bought this memory about 2 months ago. I can only get it to run at 2-3-3-6 at 2.75V at 212 FSB.

well, what did you expect ? this is only a little better than value ram, it can go up to 225 mhz at 2.5-4-4-7 I believe, which is not too bad. Just don't confuse this "HyperX" with corsair XMS of crucial Balistix, or any of the 2-2-2 pc3200 modules for that matter. It's just not a high end ram, despite having a cool looking heat spreader.
