Anybody here not yet turned in their car and on the fence about the emission modification?
Anybody turned in their car and took the payout? What did you replace the diesel with?
Or lastly anybody elected to receive emissions and their existing car and not turn the car in?
I elected to buy a used 2015 Golf TDI Sportwagen with the emission fix. Found it with all the features I wanted. Sunroof, manual transmission, heated seats, bluetooth upgraded sound system etc... On a car with 10K mileage. Pretty happy with my purchase (and the price) and going to return my 2009 Jetta TDI. That car has served me well at 193K miles on the odometer and no major issues yet. The newer car is really nice to drive, is a huge upgrade in terms of comfort, features, appeal and gets even better mileage. I can get 52-54 mpg normally and over 60 mpg (if I drive like a grandma) on my commute home whereas my old car would normally see 45 and perhaps 50 if I babied it.
