yeah I tried them several times and had real good luck with the black, but for some reason the color never worked right always leaked out and it seems to me the copies weren't as good quality. I have an hp printer and bought the refills at walmart.
nope, but i have bad experiences with ink refill kit. they are cheap and for a reason, sloppy, messy and are likely to kill your printer if done incorrectly.
Ive used them on a HP9340c only with the black. Works good. Just follow the instructions that come with the ink. But I used a needle and siringe to put the ink in. (better control)
Also I found if you put too much ink in it leaks out the botttem so just do a little each month.
I've tried refilling HP, Lexmark, Xerox & Canon ink cartridges. I've found the Canon the easiest to refill. With the individual/clear color cartridges, I could control the amount of ink I need to fill it. The other brands it was always difficult and made a mess, black or color.
I've not tried them, but those of my friends who have seem to have terrible print quality (both B&W and color/photo). Incidentally, they all use Lexmark inkjets. Is the fault that of the refills, or the Lexmark printers? I have a feeling it's both (maybe with a bit of user error thrown in for good measure).

I tried generic ink cartridges and refill kits from three different online sites. I've had good success with all three. I finally settled on the one that I've linked to because the ink was good quality, the price and shipping worked for me and they answered all my email questions in good time. I tried their cartridges first just to test the ink quality and since have purchased one of their bulk refill kits (which contained everything needed to refill both the black and color cartridges including gloves). Since buying the "kit", I only need to buy the bulk refills. This site offers lots of info and the people have been really helpful and courteous. All of my shipments have arrived before expected. I have found that the "reds" have caused me the most problems (trying to get the "red" that I call "red"). But that has even been true with the OEM cartridges also. Because I have experience with painting cars, air brushing and oils/watercolors, this did not surprise me. Red has always been the hardest color for me to "key". They helped me in learning to fine tune my "reds" using my printer software. I must also say that I use Canon printers (BJC-6000 and I850). They are probably the easiest cartridges to refill.
