Anybody use ProtonMail?

I only use the free version, but they've added ability to create, edit or suspend aliases on the fly. Haven't tried it yet, but kind of interesting.

It keeps you logged in too, even when closing and reopening a browser.

I use disroot and mailo. I donate to disroot and pay 12€/yr for mailo. I don't use webmail, only clients.

However, they're freaking Swiss, so we don't know if they're going mercenary to other probing eyes.

It was long ago. Maybe eight years back. You can probably still test them by sending a spammy sort of email. If it's bad enough, they will kill your account. Never had that issue with Outlook or Gmail. (This is back when I got kicks out of pranks. Too old for that now).

Did you send one email or a thousand? That makes a difference, and they could've nuked your account using heuristics. That's still problematic, but could be justified depending on what kind of account you had, and what the TOS says.

Dozen or so emails. I remember I got a message when I tried to login the next day. Something that said account blocked or deleted due to misuse or abuse I think.
