Anybody watch the China/Korea Badminton match?

What the hell was with that end? They called a shot "out" from the Koreans, that clearly, from every angle, was in. This gave the Chinese the gold. And no one even raised an eyebrow-not the Koreans, not the commentators. What am I missing?

Huh? It was out, the Chinese won 2-0 anyways and it was 21-13 on the second set. You think the Koreans could have come back to win?

Edit: The Chinese player was literally 1 inch from returning it until she saw it was out and held back. I'd trust her perspective and the perspective of the judges on the court over the camera.

No I wasn't expecting the Koreans to come back, but it's the Olympics for god's sake. You don't train that hard for that long to let anything go.

Anyway, I guess I must've been wrong, but my roommate and I watched and rewatched it, to both of us it looked clearly in. I disagree with your notion of "trusting the player's perspective." There'd be no reason for referees if that were the case.
