Interested in benefits. How much of a discount do you get on software/products, and how much can you buy of it per year?

The employee store is psychotic cheap. Office XP was $15, Windows XP Pro was $20. Employees can download software at will from the company servers for development, testing and basic usage.

This is true. I loved the employee store.

I'm not sure about being vested in stock options though b/c I was only there ~ 3 years. I think you're vested after 4...or maybe it's 5.

Of all the jobs I've had it was my favorite place to work.

Oh and don't forget the break rooms are stocked with just about every kind of juice and soda you can think of. All free of course. My diet mt. dew intake was >6 cans a day back then.

MY GOD SON WHY DID YOU LEAVE?!?!!?!? Sound like you had it made there -- also sounds like you didn't leave voluntarily

Insightful you are, yes.

I was canned by a boss I didn't see eye to eye with. He ran a very tight ship unlike any of the other bosses I'd had there. I tried to get away with too much and he didn't like that.

I was just late all the time. I mean ALL the time. Too much partying. I was young and foolish. Don't be like me.

Back to the subject...if you're a tech or admin of some sort, the shift differential for swing and graves is tremendous. I think I got 15% more for working graves.

Vests after 5.

Discount from the store for employees and alumni (have a coworker that's alumni, otherwise I wouldn't know) is SUBSTANTIAL. My coworker goes there to pick up new game and such regularly. Kwaipie's estimates sound right.
