Anyone build a Go Kart?

Does anyone have experience building a go kart? I think it would be fun to build a kart for my daughter and I to use, probably an electric kart. Not sure where to really start for finding a kit or anything. Watched some youtube videos but people didn't really stay where they got the frames, etc.

Noticed that Costco is selling one that goes 25 mph. $1700. A bit rich for my blood but probably a good deal actually.

Yeah, I've looked at that one. Actually what got me really thinking about it. I think I want a two seater, though.

Yeah, I looked at that last night. Appear to be quite a few options, looks like the best bet probably.
