Anyone buy ram from Crucial?

the regular web discount is off the phone order price, its 10%. going through the promo link is 15%. dirt cheap really good ram.

You have to use the webpromo link that John posted to get the 15% discount. Otherwise, you will only get the standard 10% discount for ordering over the net.

Geeze man, Crucial already gives you FREE 2nd-day shipping and you want it to be cheaper? They make some of the best memory and you'd be hard-pressed to find a better deal on DDR RAM, for example. You can find the cheapest priced DDR RAM on Pricewatch (MT chips, but generic PCBs) and think you're saving a few dollars (perhaps a whole $5) and then after paying shipping it's even MORE expensive than Crucial, which gives you premium chips and PCBs. Need I say more?

I've ordered RAM from Crucial a few times. They always give the 10% discount for ordering online and even when they aren't offering free shipping, their freight charges are very reasonable compared to the competition.

How can you beat them. Free shipping and incredible prices. I just ordered another 256 mb DDR2100 for $65. Now they are advertizing PC2400 cas2 DDR for the price I paid 2 months ago for the PC2100. Dropped $25 in a week. Go for it!!

I ordered RAM from Crucial on Memorial Day (yesterday) and they sent me a e-mail with a UPS tracking link...the memory will arrive on Thursday as planned.

I ordered RAM on thursday night, shipped out friday and 2nd day air to be delivered wednesday. I'm still trying to figure out why it couldn't get here today, but oh well, who cares. Now hopefully the engrish speaking people in my old apartment next door, where I accidentally sent the ram to, won't steal it.

Well, I don't know about PC2400 parts, but some reviews clearly indicated that the PC2100 parts could o/c nicely (potentially to the point of PC2400 and beyond).

I like both Mushkin and Crucial. I usually go with Mushkin to avoid sales tax, but lately Crucial's prices and free shipping (2nd day air) have been just too tough! 128MB PC-133 cas 2 for like $35? Incredible. Oh, and both make a fine product and stand behind their warranty. Can't lose either way.
