I have been paleo for a few years now. I enjoy it a lot. I think most people are healthier if they give up grains and sugars. I have also been intermittent fasting for about 3 months now to cut down as much as possible for summer. If you want to learn about Paleo read "The Primal Blueprint" by Mark Sisson. He is the Paleo guru and it's a nice, well thought-out, easy read on the subject.
Since starting paleo my weight has gone from 225 to 180 (the last 10# took intermittent fasting to kick off) and my blood lipids have all but sorted themselves out. Very healthy and easy lifestyle. Highly recommended.
