who cares if he thanked god. everyone thanks god for everything. its not a big deal.
Praise the Lord, He gave us the ability to win the championship"
Well he should be thanking his teammates, his coach, his fans, his family, etc..in my view thanking God if you're into that stuff should be done privately.
Feel free to disagree.

I think according to Vic, this would mean that the Nets are worshipping the evil/false god...along with all muslims and every other religion than his.

Its just that "He gave us the ability to win the championship" He is thanking him for the talent not the win.Praise the Lord, He gave us the ability to win the championship"

Still sad over the nets' loss...but...
I thought it was sweet what David Robinson said. He said he was blessed to have such a great ending to his career and that he thanked God blah blah blah. There's nothing wrong with that...everyone thanks God for things.
The part that got me and actually made me a LITTLE bit happy about the spurs winning was when he thanked his father..and blah blah. Robinson's such a sweet guy..heh.

He should have thanked Steve Kerr.... the greatest player to EVER play the game. Kerr = clutch.
Big Deal you act like he said "Praise my Penis!" If he wants to worship God or Worship the Penis it's his business and he should be able to say it (of course we should be able to make fun of him for it if we are so inclined)Originally posted by: Syringer
When asked what he has to say after winning the game, he said was "Praise the Lord, He gave us the ability to win the championship" or something to that extent...and so does that mean God was against the Nets and the other 27 teams in the NBA from winning the championship?
I mean, he's probably my favorite player of all time, and easily one of the best people in sports, but bleh..
