No kidding. I thought I was the only one annoyed by this... I would have team killed him if friendly fire was on. The guy who did it in my last game was being a douche and continually shined it in my face. Of course, he had a real mature name too...
I'm begining to like the game, however I really don't like the tactical flashlights, seems like there is always some jackass on my team who decides to blind me with it.
I feel a little overwhelmed in the game really, so much audiovisual overstimulation that sometimes it's difficult to follow whats happening, but that's not really a complaint, more of an observation. It changes the game dynamic a bit from pure aim/strategy elements to more of how fast your brain can pick through the clutter to focus on important stuff. In many past games I would turn details down a ton to help reduce this kind of overstimuli, but BF3 seems messy under all settings.
I am enjoying the game but its a bit shallow. I think i need to join a clan or something because right now there are too many assholes who dont give a damn. Jump in a tank and drive off without a gunner etc.
Also no voice chat is just crazy. No commander kinda sucks, maps are not large enough. Firestorm for example is just a huge clusterfuck in the middle. I still really enjoy the game but am looking forward to new maps being released.
Also if anyone can recommend a good casual clan I would appreciate it.

I think there is a type of gamer rage similar to road rage that I suffer from. I get royally pissed when people get me killed by being bad. I even get pissed when an enemy kills me from far away, and I see people on my team within 3 feet of him that he isn't shooting at.
Did my tank fire dirty tampons or something at the enemy ? A knife can destory these fences whats the story with the tanks?
DT rounds are unlocked at rank 27, check your loadout for the tank to make sure they are not equipped.
The tampon rounds shred when they hit a fence, this is a known feature of the DT round. Their main advantage is the massive splash damage against infantry.

No way to filter off password protected severs? Yet there is a filter to look for a password protected server? Lol, isn't that backwards? I'd want to see what servers DON'T have a password, not which ones do. Really stupid, IMO.

Still doesn't make sense at all how a fat ass rpg can squeeze its fat f*king ass thru a fence hit me multiple times with no damage to the fence....yet i can't destroy the fence and him in defense..yet i can blast a identical fence anywhere else on the map and in the base...
It does not compute and yes the standard round sucks it thru a straw i can blast someone and miss by a foot and it doesn't even come close to a hit registry while in BC2 it would blow them a new assh*le :awe:
BF series hit detections has always been way off from my experience. one of the reasons i hate the game.
I think the game as a whole is ok but something today made me cry wolf...g for grenade...what other fps shooter has g for grenade?

Last time I played, I got game crashes the first 2 attempts to join a server.
Then the third one brought up the loading screen. It crashed. Then I played a brief match. After the round, it goes to switch maps... Another crash.
I'm blaming their whole battlelog setup until somebody can prove me wrong. If I were giving somebody tech support and they showed me the process of the game launching I'd tell them it has to be something w\ the browser add on launching the game.

My game used to crash while loading maps, but the latest AMD drivers and bf3 update solved that. I think I've had one crash in a week which isn't bad. EA was never known for releasing polished products at launch.
