Exactly, way too expensive. Thus the need for the MLM method for selling and promoting.

This should be entertaining.

Hey I'll answer what I can, not everybody likes certain marketing or products, but if you want to know something, just ask.

If I don't know, I can send the question up the line.

Ok, uh...what does a $25 bottle of fruit punch do for me?

I don't sell friut punch, sorry.
So what do you sell?

In the "team" I am in, you needed to be on 2 case autoship to receive commission. I liked the taste of the MonaVie, but I didn't think it was worth the money, no where near in fact. I canceled my autoship immediately after I found out it was a subscription.

Here's my take on MonaVie as a business. It is a legitimate business and one can definitely make good money on it, but it takes a lot of hard work. It seems their business model is to sell more the opportunity than the product as at ~$30 dollars a bottle it is hard to justify the cost on that alone. Thus the very smart people who started the company decided that MLM was the best way to promote and sell MonaVie as one who joins their business is usually promoting MonaVie, consuming and purchasing a lot of bottles of MonaVie as well as getting others to join in to do the same. The entry fee was only $39 bucks to become a distributor but you would expect a distributor to purchase some bottles of MonaVie either to consume it themselves (because they like it for health reasons or otherwise) or for getting others to become distributors under them.

As a product I like the taste of MonaVie, but the cost of it is enormous. I don't think it is worth the cost unless you truly believe the health benefits are worth it. MonaVie is a blend drink of 19 different fruits and berries with Acai as the headline ingredient. I do not know what percentage of Acai is in MonaVie, maybe wdb can tell us?

Emphasis mine. That's the definition of a pyramid scheme.

As long as the base grows exponentially, it's completely legitimate...

Seriously, if you want to know more about it feel free to PM me, since the tone of the thread is beginning to be rather terse.

You've got to be kidding. Tell me what the stuff is and why I would want to pay $25 to drink it. Simple question.

OK...its a blend of 19 superfruits from around the world, chosen for thier health benefits, not juices from concentrate, but liquified fruits, not squeezed.

The main ingredient is the acai berry from Brazil.

What makes things like grapes, passionfruit, apple, cranberry, pomegranate "superfruits?" How come when I go buy a bottle of apple juice it doesn't tell me that the apples used to make it are a superfruit?

What are the health benefits of each of these fruits, and the overall health benefits of the product?

blueberries, pomegranite, and acai berrry (and i believe blackberries) are considered superfruits and are known for their health benefits.

mashing all that shit together and then charging 25 bucks a bottle is recockulous.

Understand that Monavie products are neither drugs or dietary supplements, Monavie products are simply liquified fruit. While it does not claim to have medicinal values, many retails customers have testified that their health have improved upon drinking Monavie.

While all the fruits contained in MonaVie have unique properties that benefit your body, the acai berry has become the ?headliner? fruit because it is packed with nutritional value?proteins, healthy fats, fiber, vitamins, minerals, and trace minerals. More important than this, however, is the impressive amount of phytonutrients and powerful antioxidants that MonaVie is able to capture from the acai berry through its proprietary processing.

The acai used in MonaVie boasts the highest ORAC score against the hydroxyl free radical of any fruit or vegetable tested to date. The acai fruit is the star among other well-known antioxidants, such as blueberries, grapes, red wine, green tea, cranberries, blackberries, and pomegranates. By comparison, acai has more than 10 times the antioxidant power of cranberries.

FYI...if you work a job in the corporate world, you're in the biggest pyramid scam in history...CEO at the top, board, then upper management, followed by middle management, and at the bottom are the workers.

It doesn't matter how hard you work, you'll never get from the bottom to anywhere near the top, all you will ever be is the bottom of the pyramid.

MLM, or direct marketing, is very lucrative to those that work hard, and choose a good product with a good compensation plan.

As for the product, do the research on Acai itself before you assume that the juice at the store is the same thing...of course it isn't, and anyone that can read the product label will see that.

Metalloid, if you still have any of the bottles, compare the content of Mona Vie to that of any other store-bought juice that has acai and you will see what I mean.

This is brainwashing by mlm's to have you think 'corporate' life is equal to mlm because of seniority. This could then apply to military and government as well.

Unfortuately with MLM you aren't guaranteed a wage, with 'corporate' life you are. /end

In what regard have customers testified their health has improved? Cured cancer? Better sex life? Grew hair on their head/removed hair from their backs?

Why would I want to get my proteins, healthy fats, etc from expensive juice instead of other foods, or less expensive supplements? What are phytonutrients and how do they improve my health? How do the antioxidants improve my health?

What is an ORAC score? What are hydorxyl free radicals? How do they improve my health?
Why is your reply soley focused on acai? What are the health benefits of the other fruits in your juice?

Well, I see that you already are the expert, so I'm done here.

If you actually do want that info, as if you didn't already feel you know it all, feel free to PM me.

The only way to see if it will do anything for you is to try it.

He's trying to boil you down to the simple fact that fruits are a good source of vitamins/minerals and are healthy for you. You don't have to spend $30 for a bottle of juice to get those nutrients. Admit that and I'm sure everyone would get off your back, but you wouldn't do that, because you have a product to sell... scratch that, you have an opportunity for them to sell under you.

Quite obviously, I am not an expert. That's why I am asking these questions. I'm sure everyone else would like to know, as well.

I'm not going to PM you, there's no reason you can't answer my questions in public. They are very straightforward questions about your product and its purported benefits.

Why would I try something without even knowing what I am hoping to achieve by trying it?

I was at Costco a while back and sampled a similar product. NO, it's not the same as Mona Vie, but very similar.

It had a more pleasant taste, and didn't have that gawd-awful grittyness that MonaVie has from the ground-up oyster shells. (or what the fuck ever it actually is)

It still tasted like shit, (I do NOT care for the taste of the acai berry) but it didn't taste as foul as the Mona Vie does. (IMO)
