Anyone else enjoy the Repubs squirming on Obamacare replacement?

I want the same health care that congress has. If its good enough for them then it should be available for all americans.

Congress gets the same healthcare as the rest of the federal govt. 15 years ago if you had access to other insurance most civil servants went with the that, i.e. spouse worked as a contractor, the contractors insurance was generally cheaper and better.

These days it's the opposite. Federal health insurance has also gotten more expensive but private company insurance has gotten shittier faster.

Not saying your idea is wrong or right, just giving some background.

First, the ACA won't collapse. Basically no nonpartisan projections say that. That's a right wing echo chamber myth.

At best you'll throw enough subsidies their way, but that's an inferior system which cannot be relied upon.
And does little to nothing to address the absurd insurance costs. People still cannot afford the ACA.

So in the catastrophic wreckage that occurred as a result of the GOP's ultra conservatives head on crash with those others who are trembling in their shoes thinking about their re-election bids next year, we now find the Repubs planning and executing a war of attrition, a guerrilla war against Obamacare, where sabotage is the order of the day, where fucking around with the intricate mechanics of the ACA in the dark shadows of anonymity to make their ominous predictions of the ACA imploding/exploding come true is going to be Job #1 and take more of their time than all of their Fake Benghazi hearings put together and then some.

With the thought of that old adage that went something like "Never let a gobsmacking defeat go to waste", it seems to me the Repubs are going to dig in their heels even deeper still and make defeating Obamacare their mission in life, their full time obsession of choice, the rallying cry for their re-election bids. For in their promise of defeating the ACA, (whatever that means) there is the resurrection of the boogeyman, the ever present existential threat to humankind that the GOP is compelled to rely on to justify their existence as a viable "Party of the People and Upholder of Family Values".

Awww shit, come to think of it, that's just like FOX saying they are the only source for fair and balanced news reporting. I get the giggles every time I run into that.

We have a Fake President tweeting fakeries <---(is that a word or what?) 24/7/365 and a Fake Repub Legislature that just doesn't seem to be able to get out of the way of itself attempting to defeat a viable health care plan (that needs improving) with Fake reasons being manufactured from a Fake Fear Factory.

Folks it just can't get any better than this, but I wouldn't be at all surprised if it did.

on isurance. Sometimes its cheaper other times its more expensive and at the end of the year any carry-over is paid back to its customers. No corporate greed, just fellow citizens covering for eachother. I keep all my policies here, cause its just the right thing to do. You should maybe think about healthcare in the same way.
