I don't want ACA to implode, yet I think it will. Both sides are acting like children, I wish they could work together to make it better. It is obvious that ACA is not great right now, and is getting worse. American people are going to be the ones hurting by playing these sort of games.

First, the ACA won't collapse. Basically no nonpartisan projections say that. That's a right wing echo chamber myth.
Second, if it were in danger of collapse then Republicans better do something about it to make it stronger. They are in charge.
Not that I agree with the premise but should it happen through neglect or administrative action my suspicion is that voters will blame the people in power, as usual.
I still love how the Freedumb Caucus did the exact same thing they did to Obama. Take everything, concede next to nothing and moments before the vote change their mind and vote No.

Repubs have enjoyed the luxury of cat calling & obstructionism since the inception of the ACA. Now that they're in a position to do something to benefit the people they balk, apparently because they're ideologically opposed to helping the people.
That wouldn't make the ACA collapse, it would just make premiums more expensive in those areas for the government. Seriously, just go read nonpartisan analysis of the ACA like the CBO. None of them think it is in danger of collapse. This is a right wing fever dream. Regardless if the ACA IS going to collapse the republicans run the entire government. They will be blamed, and rightly so. If they genuinely think it is going to collapse and are choosing to allow millions of people to suffer for an imagined political advantage they all deserve to be voted out of office.
It says a lot to me though how half-assed their 'repeal' was, which to me says they don't believe their own rhetoric that they're selling you. Everything in their repeal bill would make adverse selection WORSE, not better. All that bill was was a rich person tax cut disguised as a health care bill. They were playing you.

Something needs to change as the ACA was destined to fail from the offset ( the Dems already knew this ). The Republicans cannot get their shit together which is obvious by the feeble attempt last week to replace the ACA. The Democrats are playing the same game with not being willing to change the ACA to fix it and just saying well the Republicans own it now so the Dems don't or won't give a shit. They are willing to sit back, let it blow up then blame everything on the Republicans.
