It seems that our enemy is blown away by the fact that WE are working our plan. This "defeat" (haha) is actually a step toward our ultimate goal.

The GOP is clearly a master tactician. This was all apart of the master plan. I see now. Brilliant move.

Here is another.

His authority was real, yet he knew his brothers spoke Truth. His authority covered the brothers on many ocasions.

In time, the enemy gained strength and the voice of the enemy pushed out the brothers.

He was with us and is now passed on.

Tell me more about Putin.

To those that are wise...joy, peace and the knowledge that total victory is right ahead,

To the fool, a sense that somehow the bullshit story will prevail.

It won't.

Are Republican states going to expand Medicaid now that their gambit to repeal it has failed?

Paul Ryan scored a point (that I give out personally) by acknowledging with candor that his party had failed and declaring that Obamacare is the law of the land. Even with a caveat "for the foreseeable future."

Good question. Comparing the Medicaid expansion map & the poverty map tells us what should happen-

Repub politicians have no shame. They'll keep screwing their own citizens in a variety of ways as long as people keep voting for them, no matter what.

I don't want ACA to implode, yet I think it will. Both sides are acting like children, I wish they could work together to make it better. It is obvious that ACA is not great right now, and is getting worse. American people are going to be the ones hurting by playing these sort of games.

It's obvious that the defeated Repub healthcare proposal would have collapsed the ACA, a system that has expanded coverage to 20M Americans. That's per the CBO & any sort of rational analysis. Repubs adamantly oppose any sort of universal healthcare coverage effort simply because the rich will have to pay more than the little guys to achieve it. Explain how Dems are supposed to work with that.

I still love how the Freedumb Caucus did the exact same thing they did to Obama. Take everything, concede next to nothing and moments before the vote change their mind and vote No.
I love it

Trump (finally) pointing the finger at Conservatives for not passing TrumpCare via Twitter:
"Democrats are smiling in D.C. that the Freedom Caucus, with the help of Club For Growth and Heritage, have saved Planned Parenthood & Ocare!"

wtf is Club For Growth and Heritage?
group to help balding men with more hair via implants?

^^Club for Growth is a conservative backed Koch(?) group

The Heritage Foundation is a conservative group who I think is backed by Sheldon Anderson (?)

First, the ACA won't collapse. Basically no nonpartisan projections say that. That's a right wing echo chamber myth.

Second, if it were in danger of collapse then Republicans better do something about it to make it stronger. They are in charge.

In a lot of areas of the country it is already on its last leg. Only one provider or in some areas none.

The Teahadis render Repubs incapable of governing. Can't hold the HOR without them & can't make sense pandering to their demands.

Repubs built it, of course, thinking they could always control it. Here's hoping the whole lot goes down like the Hindenberg.

And the Repub plan would have changed that for the better?

Repubs have enjoyed the luxury of cat calling & obstructionism since the inception of the ACA. Now that they're in a position to do something to benefit the people they balk, apparently because they're ideologically opposed to helping the people.

That wouldn't make the ACA collapse, it would just make premiums more expensive in those areas for the government. Seriously, just go read nonpartisan analysis of the ACA like the CBO. None of them think it is in danger of collapse. This is a right wing fever dream. Regardless if the ACA IS going to collapse the republicans run the entire government. They will be blamed, and rightly so. If they genuinely think it is going to collapse and are choosing to allow millions of people to suffer for an imagined political advantage they all deserve to be voted out of office.

It says a lot to me though how half-assed their 'repeal' was, which to me says they don't believe their own rhetoric that they're selling you. Everything in their repeal bill would make adverse selection WORSE, not better. All that bill was was a rich person tax cut disguised as a health care bill. They were playing you.

What the hell makes you think I am here defending the republican Plan?

Something needs to change as the ACA was destined to fail from the offset ( the Dems already knew this ). The Republicans cannot get their shit together which is obvious by the feeble attempt last week to replace the ACA. The Democrats are playing the same game with not being willing to change the ACA to fix it and just saying well the Republicans own it now so the Dems don't or won't give a shit. They are willing to sit back, let it blow up then blame everything on the Republicans.

The democrats have said many, many times that they are open to changes to the ACA. I am not aware of a single attempt by republicans to engage them on this.

Not one.
