Wow... Usually i can make it through the whole day, but this year im not so sure.... IM DAMN HUNGRY!!

Anyone else fasting today?

(For those who dont know, today is the Jewish Holiday of Yom Kippur.... LINK for more info)

No, but I atoned for all of my sins and more by re-installing Windows from the ground up on my sister's machine, last night. That should be enough to put me in the plus column for a couple more years.

I think my sister's major sins for the year were not keeping her AV and spyware removal software up to date, and her machine paid for it. She atoned by feeding me a nice, if not kosher, Italian shrimp dinner.

BTW, Yom Kippur is my Dad and my "other" birthday. He was born on Oct. 1, Yom Kippur, and thirty years later, so was I. The two dates did not coincide for the intervening twenty-nine years.

I had a translator from France (she was a knock-out of French/Algerian decent) who told me that the hardest part wasn't fasting during the day (sun up to sundown), but was to keep from having impure thoughts in head during the day. :Q
