I'm on the fence getting 1-3 of these and could use some guidance. I haven't played a PC game besides GTA4 and Torchlight in the last four years; no joke. Been super busy with school and raising kids. I have a Steam account with 51 games in it, a lot being big-hit titles.
A few months ago I picked up three of these 23" HP monitors for $75 + tax from Staples:

I'm almost done finishing my basement with a dedicated office/computer room and was going to set them up in Eyefinity and start playing games again, now that life has slowed down considerably. I will start with the oldest game and work my way up, which should save me a boatload of money not having to get a bleeding edge video card. It should be a cool step-up from my 28" I-Inc 1920x1200.
Now that I see this deal I'm not sure what to do. I can sell the three 23" monitors and get at least $100 each for them on Craigslist. That would give me enough money to purchase one of these. Will one of these with near 4 million pixels be a better experience than three, 23" monitors in Eyefinity? Do I go crazy and get three of them? If I did that I would definitely need to upgrade my video card, but seeing how I'll be playing really old games like Dragon Age, all the Stalkers, the Witcher etc. they should probably play decently, even pushing over 11 million pixels.
What would you guys do? Thanks for any consideration.
