120hz.net my friend. Got in on the first batch of 100. No word currently on when the second batch will go up for sale, but it should likely be in the next two weeks.
Ahh thanks...

Hmm never heard of these, just seen this thread and the huge one on the OC forum.
I have a GTX 670 to push it, looking for a gaming monitor. Anyone recommend which to get? Anyway outside of Ebay to order one or is that the cheapest route?
Thanks
I'm interested in the high hz possibility of these monitors. I must do some research.
are these THAT much better than high end samsungs?
I've got a 120hz catleap on the way
Congrats on everyone that got no visible defect displays!
I'm backing up blastingcap on this because he received one of these displays with weird brightness/contrast and gave me some valuable information about these monitors and combined with my own research... all these Catleap, Crossover and Achieva monitors are indeed using A- grade monitors which are rejects from big brands due to LG International Inspection Standards for these displays.
They are using LM270WQ1 same as Apple 27" displays... but the difference is Apple's display panels are A+ Grade and these cheaper Korean ones are A- grade.
The ebay sellers are stating they are A- grades LG Panels and even show what ARE acceptible defects and number of defective visible defects for these A- Grade monitors from the Korean Manufacturers. Higher grade monitors such as A+ and A grade monitors have NO visible defects inlcuding irregular contrast/brightness, no visible pixel defects, etc. A+ and A grades are what are being used in Apple, Dell, HP, Samsung, NEC, ASUS, BenQ, ACER and other major brands here in the USA that would consider A- grade panels as worst and not acceptable for their display products.
The people that are ordering and getting them for $300 - $400 and got no visible dead pixels are taking a gamble and of course are getting lucky because I see about 20% to 30% of people whom received their displays are reporting DOA/Pixel/Contrast defects on other forums.
At that risk rate... I rather wait and do a little more research, and spend $100+ more for a peace of mind and a USA warranty.
How do you know they are a-? Where are you finding a glossy screened 27" with a US warranty for only $100 more? Most all except apples use a very aggressive ant glare coating afaik which results in semi blurry text/crystallization.
I ended up buying the Shimian Qh270-Lite, says its comes with a 120/240 plug so i should be ok then or do i need to get something else? I paid a bit more for a pixel perfect one, $363 and it already shipped out this morning. So hopefully i have it by the end of the week. If it is as good as it sounds will probably order another one by next week to run dual monitors with.
The ocean of posters at OC and elsewhere have said pixel perfect is worthless. They don't actually check it for you despite saying they do. Air delivery usually takes 3-5 business days.
