we get spoiled in NJ... I don't think there's anywhere in the state that you can go and not have a 24-hr diner within 5 miles of you (almost all of which have the exact same menu give or take a couple specials, natch... my friend had sweet potato pancakes at a diner last night)

Nope. My alarm clock is from the late '90s, so it doesn't have that feature; manual set only.

Plus, I didn't have my alarm turned on today, since it is a Sunday.

Where the hell was the DST change announced? Neither my gf nor I had any clue it was happening until our cell phones changed automatically. I follow the news, read the forums, etc. and never once saw it mentioned anywhere. Anyone else have this happen?

I saw it mentioned somewhere on Friday. It would be nice if the change would take effect on Saturday instead to provide a better buffer for the normal Monday workday.

Mine went off ok, but I was retarded tired so I skipped the first church service, then I got a call for help on a 4 picture power point so I showed up for the 2nd service. Was probably going to go anyway. That's the thing with doing late shift, when I do need to get up early it's 10 times harder.

They put me back on normal shift now, will take a while to adjust. Though it will be nice getting out of there at 5 instead of 9.

Mine and the wifes are both set by the atomic airwaves or whatever the hell its called, they set themselves. Hell the only clocks I have to change are the microwave and the truck. Everything else takes care of itself: cell phone, computers, cable box. At any rate I am on the weekend crew this weekend, working third no less. Swing shifts FTL.
