This summer was a bit hotter than usual, but I'm still sad to see it go. I'm not a fan of cold weather, and I hate how early it gets dark in the late fall and winter.

This summer was hotter than hell, so yes, i'm glad fall is here. September and October are my two favorite months of the year though. Temperatures between 50-70, consistent weather, no allergies.

No! I hate winter, it's too damn cold to go out and do anything. While summer may suck at times because it's too hot, I would much rather have it too hot than too cold.

You can always escape the cold. You can always add more layers of clothing. There are only so many layers of clothing you can remove to escape the heat.

I'll go outside when it's 0 degrees. You won't ever catch me outside when it's 90 degrees with 100% humidity.

I'll take cold over hot any day. My ideal temperature range is 50-70, but I would rather 30 than 90.

I hate summer with a passion...if I never saw a temperature above 65 degrees ever again, I'd be thrilled. So yes, I would be glad if it was actually over, but it won't be for another month or so here.

I love summer, hate to see it go.

Ditto. So much to do compared to fall. Swim in the backyard pool, take the boat to the lake, mow (I love mowing), baseball games, camping out, just general summer fun.

Fall is ok too, but not as fun to boat with cold water and its depressing knowing that winter is on its way and soon I'll be stuck inside since my garage is not insulated.

I always miss the selection of fresh fruits and vegetables once summer goes away. Most years, our garden continues to produce until the first frost...usually in early December, although once it starts getting cold, the production slows way down.

Unfortunately Florida always forgets that summer doesn't extend 10 months out of the year. It will continue to be hot as balls until January or so.

75-80 is wonderful, I laugh when people complain about the terrible 86 degree weather.

If you can call this a summer rofl. We've had like a total of 4 days of 80+, I believe, here where I live. Mostly low 70s all summer.

Soccer, tennis, cookouts, patio dining, growing season, warm rain, etc... all gone until spring.

Move down to the Gulf Coast. Fall is when we can *start* doing that.
