Anime in general annoys me greatly. One of my roomates watches a lot of it. I have to leave the apt because it annoys me so much. Especially the high pitched whiney girl voice that seems to be dubbed into just about all of them.

Give me Transformers or Masters of the Universe any day though.

We went from greats such as Flintstones, Tom n Jerry, Jetsons, scooby doo, ANYTHING from hanna barbara(sp?) pretty much, ANYTHING from disney (chip n dales, duck tales, etc), hell even XMEN

to crap such as

SPONGE BOB WTF, ANYTHING on nickelodeon, king of the hill WTF

simpsons - WHERE THE HELL HAVE THEY GONE, they should learn something from the Japanese and quit while they're still ahead

futurerama - same story (they quit after they went downhill)

family guy - WHY OH WHY DID YOU CANCEL FAMILY GUY


japanese animation has more or less stayed at the same high level

macross, evangelion, hack, tenchi, kenshin, all still kick ass (even though they're 15-1 year old (those dates have been pulled out of my ass. let's just say old/new))

Don't like it, don't like it, never heard of it, it's bearable, never heard of it.

I liked stuff like Thundercats and Robotech, but that was when I was a little kid. I'm just not an anime person. Now I realize I'm not alone

That's like saying you watched jet li's the one and romeo must die, and claimed all kung fu movies suck.

DBZ is nothing compare to Saint Seiya or Fist of the North Star.

Princess Mononoke, find me an animation movie from other parts of the world that has the same calibur.

I didn't like Fist of the North Star, but Princess Mononoke was ok.

I don't like anime. I thought it was because I'm older and anime is something (like rap music) that defines this younger generation. I tried watching some but I can't understand what the heck is going on. Also, I'm not fond of the art either.

I like American cartoons like Simpsons, Futurama, Batman, Superman, and Justice League.

I enjoy anime. The shows that I like are not just DBZ anime though... I do like DBZ, but there are other anime shows that are better. Lately I have been watching Trigun, Nadesico, Yu Yu Hakusho, .hack//SIGN, Rurouni Kenshin, Neon Genesis Evangelion, Cowboy Bebop and shows like that, for the most part they are pretty enjoyable. I prefer them to most regular TV shows.

I don't like anime serials.. they drag on too long and often the animation isn't all that.

I DO enjoy the movies -- Princess Mononoke, Spirited Away, Akira, Ghost in the Shell, Avalon (ok not so much that one).
