Global Agenda was $7.50 one day during the Steam sale, and I initially blew it off even for that price until I saw that "No more monthly subscription fees" line on the product page, which made it 100% more acceptable, especially for $7.50.
So I picked up a copy and gifted my son a copy. I gotta say, it's a pretty cool mix of Borderlands and WoW. Apparently there's only one zone right now, the desert, but I understand there's a major upgrade coming that will add at least one more zone and a lot of quests.
I also jumped into a few of the 4-player coop random missions and had a lot of fun with that. I'm not too much into PvP, but coop PvE is really appealing, and the end boss battles are cool.
I dunno how much life the game has in it for me, but I've put about 7 hours into it so far, and have enjoyed them. It's got the same problems most MMOs have with having to run a marathon mile just to get to a quest spot, then if you die, you respawn back where you were and have to run it again, but the game looks good, supports DX10, and feels nice to play.
I give it a recommendation in that it is a fun shooter with some MMO trappings and has taken the Guild Wars path instead of trying to maintain a WoW billing structure.
