That is the lapse of the payroll tax exemption, and you can thank the House Republicans for that, not the President. Nice try blaming him, though.

Are you really this zealously loyal to the Democratic party and the President? It's like its a religion. Are you allowed to think for yourself or is that against party guidelines as well?
The folly in aligning ones self with either party...especially given the state of our Congress. Do you really think the Senate is any better?
He is making a simple factual statement. Obama supported extending the payroll tax cut, Republicans opposed it. The source of increased taxes on middle class paychecks is the end of the payroll tax cut.
Period. This is just a fact.
Its really just the black and white then....wow. Both of you are tainted by a political party.
It has nothing to do with black and white, it has to do with what is true. If you have additional information that shows what I said to be wrong, please tell me.

He didn't support extending the cuts, he tried to exploit extending the cuts to further his agenda. No dice, the blame lies squarely with him. Everyone who takes a major hit to their paychecks this month should know to thank obummer.

You and I both know it's not a factual as you'd like to believe. You show the facts; I'm not wasting my time.
Do you deny maintaining a resolute allegiance to a political party?
I actually blame both parties and primarily President Obama for failing to LEAD instead of contributing to the division...what a crazy concept for this President.

Are you really this ignorant of the facts, and this inclined to blame the President for everything without knowing what the hell you're talking about?
Obama pushed for the payroll tax exemption to be passed, and fought successfully to keep it in place several times. Most recently, during the fiscal cliff negotiations, he tried to make it part of the final deal but the House GOP caucus refused to consider it so it was not included.
Honestly, if you don't know what you're talking about (and you don't), why are you commenting?
Why is the lapse of the payroll tax exemption a bad thing? It was reducing social security coffers by $120 billion a year. There was no decrease in spending to offset. WHy do you hate grandma so much?
Well I didn't know I was dealing with a political expert here...my bad. You really are fool hardy and ignorant if you think the situation is that "factual".
I'd blame any President who is a party member first and a failure of a leader second.

False equivalence is every bit as much a sin as strict adherence to a party.
