No one lives downtown so it's much easier to go to a local neighborhood park. And I did sit on the the lawn chairs in the park's indoor swimming pool. That counts right?

the beach was as terrible as i thought it would be. there was barely anyone there, the sun was out, and it felt great lying on the beach.
