I preordered copies for my son and myself. The trailer and screenshots look pretty good to me. Also waiting for crysis 2 and rage to be released.
I was looking through a magazine one time and seen what looked to be a good pc shooter war game. I wish I could remember what, but it was based on the usa military.
I paid 50 bucks and this thing was a pile of junk. Never again.
Anyone else waiting for Homefront?.
If it's not already an established franchise or I don't get to play the game a little before I buy, I will never pre-order it. We get burned on too many games that look cool but ultimately suck.
It wasn't Full Spectrum Warrior was it? That game was terrible.
Even well established franchises turn out shit. Master of Orion 3, Civilization 5, Fallout 3 (depending on who you talk to)...
I'm going to wait and be optimistic.
Fallout 3? Are you kidding? The game was excellent.
No it really wasn't.
In your opinion, sure, but I have many people on my friends list on steam that have over 100 hours into both Fallout 3 and NV. I really doubt that everyone shares your opinion; I happen to be someone who doesn't.
So *that's* what opinions are. I wasn't sure. I thought that when someone said something was good or bad, it meant everyone felt exactly the same way.
some sandy v's in here right now...
No it really wasn't.
Maybe not such a big stretch- you do realize that North Korea has the fourth largest standing army in the world?I was the trailer for this last week. The story line is awful. A country with a GDP of 40 billion takes over most of east asia and invades the united states?
Suit yourself, but with an average 91% score on Metacritic, there's not a lot of people who would agree. To toss you a bone, Bethesda really needs to trash the Gamebryo engine. That would have prevented most of FO3's problems right there.
