The surfer dude who won yesterday was pretty good, the way he ran the first course was impressive, I don't think he got "wiped out" once and almost got to the last big ball as well.

My son loves Wipeout, so we record it and I get to watch Jill often. She is really quite outstanding.

We know someone who works on the show and we are told that multiple people go to the hospital at every taping. Broken bones and concussions happen every single day.

Yeah, he was quite athletic, and seemed to move fast enough, and think fast enough to defeat the course pretty easily.

My kids and I love this show too. I'm surprised nobody got permanently injured yet (well as far as I know anyway). Some of the hits looks pretty hard even with the thick pads. Running full speed and getting whacked on the head backward enough for body flip can't be good.
That said, I would pay a few bucks to run thru some of those course myself. Looks scary fun.
