Hi babe

Recently a wild blue crab pinched the crap out of my finger while I was trying to throw him into a pot to cook and eat him. Little fvcker was delicious

I feel disappointed.

I was hoping to hear something like an attack by an Elephant, moose, monkey, tiger, or something completely ridiculous.

One time I was on my way to return some pants. I missed the subway, so I started walking. Then I fell in a puddle of mud, ruining the very pants I was going to return.

I was in Colorado Springs visiting friends and decided that I should climb Pikes Peak by myself. This was after only being in town for <12 hours and I'm from the midwest - so I was not acclimated even to the 5500ft that the Springs is at yet. So I start up and all is good. I get to about 12,000ft and I'm severely tired out and getting a little delusional due to the lack of air. I sit down for one of my many breathers and out from behind a rock walks a marmot - good sized too. At first I figured I was just imagining it because I hadn't seen animals this high up on the mountain. He started to walk right towards me. I got up and tried to walk away and the bitch kept following me. I started to run. I had to stop because I was so tired and this guy was right on my heels. It got up on my leg and I kicked (I think he smelled my granola). He got PISSED. Ran at my again. Aaaaah! I beat it with my walking stick and tried throwing my granola at it. Didn't help. It bit my boot - I punted it again, ran as much as I could and it didn't return. It was seriously scary.

been attacked by a doberman -- a very uncontrollable doberman -- does that count?

Other than that, been bitten by a few snakes. (nothin' poisonous though, Steve wasn't jokin' when he said don't try it @ home), been dive bombed by a few maggpies, and been chased down a mountain by a cow moose and her calf....

Got bit by a stray dog once. It was so small(no longer than 45 cm, I'd think) that I didn't even know it was there. I kicked the stupid bastard.

great story doug:thumbsup:

Marmots are in fact evil!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If youve done any highcountry backpacking you have inevitably encountered these vile rats. Years ago when I was in my early twenties we did a ton of backpacking and those little fvkcers will eat your boots, your backpack, your clothes. Theyll eat anything they can. Kill em all!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Theyll even try to eat your tent...........

Moose:

Was hiking a local mountain (Mt. Timpanogos) with a bunch of high-school friends, rounded a corner and there happened to be a cow moose just standing on the trail. We all froze, but it was too late, she charged at us and we all went packin' down the trail... Turns out moose can run pretty fast.... as she caught up with a few kids they bailed over the trail's edges and ended up in the tops of trees... Other than a few scratches, there were no real injuries... funny as hell though

Doberman:

I was @ my grandpa's house, spraying down the patio. Thought it would be funny to spray his dog, too (I was 4). As soon as the water touched him, he lunged at my face, and tore into me. Ripped a nice big section from my eyeball to my chin clean off. I spent the next month in plastic surgery to have it fixed. Luckilly there's not too much scarring (have a scar just under my right eybrow, a scar on my chin, and a scar on my right mandible).

My father told me he was attacked by a wolf when he was a teenager. He had to cross the woods to go to school. In a winter day, a wolf followed him for a while. He was scared but fortunately he had a match box and lit a twig on the ground. With this torch, he successfully arrived at school. Well the local legend said if you walk along in the woods and you feel someone pats your shoulder, don't turn your head and look back because usually it's a wolf standing right behind you with his paws on your shoulder and waiting for you to turn, then he will bite your throat to kill you.

Yeah they're one of the few animals I've ever met that'll just come right up to you with no fear.

They make the most horrible sounds when you hit them with big sticks, too.

Stingray... freaking the pain was unbearable esp when I had to stick my foot in warm water. It felt like my foot was in boiling water.

The left side of my leg was going numb and so did my crotch. I ended up getting 3 stiches for the gash.

I didn't know Sting Rays could actually harm you, I mean they let you pet them at the aquarium, wherever.

Hiya Ogg!

I just thought of something else... Water Moccassins!

I was fishing in a johnboat and must have gotten into one's territory, 'cause the darn thing started coming after me. Those things are nasty. :Q

generally docile, even in the wild, unless you step on them. And most of the aquariums' rays are actually de-barbed bat rays (though they do somtimes do have a de-barbed sting ray in there, too).
