Anyone ever block a telephone number?

What will the person I block here when they try to call my phone?

Would it say "Your number has been blocked" or would it say something like "The number you have called is out of service" ?

BTW, I have a cell phone and want to block another cell phone...if that matters...

You need to find out if your carrier offers call block. Call 611 from your cell and ask.

Here's a thought: why don't you block a number you can call from, test it, then unblock it?

my sister, who has worked at US Cellular for a couple of years, said its alot of trouble to make a cell-to-cell block and said getting a new number is much easier. she didnt say if she knew that from experience, or what some other CSR told her at some point :/

but its doable, call and ask.

my phone has a feature that will just send the number right to voice mail, it works pretty nice
