Anyone ever eat at the Heart Attack Grill?

Yup, was there on opening day in Dallas.
Didn't even know it was their opening day, just happened to be in Westend with my brother who was visiting from out of town. He saw the name of the place and wanted to have lunch there.
Everything we ate there was excellent.

Ate at the one in Phoenix before it shut down. Ironically I now live walking distance away from their original location.

Nothing great, Five Guys, In N Out, Fatburger and more were all better to me

Ate there once. SOmeone at work said that I couldn't finish a quadruple bypass faster them him and if I did, he'd pay for it.

Needless to say I finished the burger and this little 80 pounds-soaking-wet, sorority girl, pushed me out to my car in a wheel chair. It's their schtick I guess.

Next day I work up with Bell's Palsy and the left side of my fucking face didn't work.

Nothing wrong with lard. It is an excellent oil for cooking and adds a great flavor to foods.
The problem is when people think that they can eat like that regularly. If you are eating deep fried foods regularly then what oil it was cooked in is not your main problem.

As far as I know, they only exist in the hottest and most unfriendly places to live in the entire country. Phoenix and Las Vegas.

Next they'll probably open one up in Miami, the other city I avoid like the plague, or maybe La La land.

So no, I refuse to find myself in the state of Arizona for any reason whatsoever, however next time I'm in Vegas I might hit up the new one they opened there.

Holy crap! Sorry that happened to you. Was that caused by the burger? Maybe you ate so much it caused inflammation which pressed on the facial nerve damaging it?

How long did it take to recover from that?

I'd try it if one happened to open up here, but I don't think I'd be a huge fan, the Baconator is about as far as I'll go when it comes to heart attack style burgers.

Thankfully about a month.

Funny story, not even a week after I had my 'incident', I got a call from my dad,who lived about 250 miles from me at the time, a week later and said the right side of his face stopped working. So freakin creepy that both of us had the same issue, just on opposite sides, within a week of one another.

I do have to say though, people tell me it looks like my left eye lid doesn't close all the way still, but it's very slight.
