Essentially it's a fancy and overly complicated electric "Neti-pot".
Yes they do work and they can be helpful especially if you smoke or vape... just be sure to keep it clean or you might get a
nasty fungal sinus infection.
Hi, i've just read your post. I was looking to buy one of these ,however, exactly as you said, im paranoid this machine picks up mold inside. Same reason I stopped using waterpiks:
And here's another nasal irrigator that shows the same problem:
Doesn't take rocket science to know mold would be there eventually.
Now when it comes to Navage, I don't know how well manufactured the thing is to keep mold out of the places you can't see. You can see the tanks which is good, however, what about the places you don't see where the water travels? as you can see here, there is a tube that isn't seen:
Water that remains there after usage is hidden in a dark enclosed place, which would lead to mold particles.
Its one of those things. This looks like a great idea, because my nose gets stuffed sometimes, and I really doubt a regular neti pot would do the trick because the traditional netti pot just uses the mere force of gravity to push stuff out, however here you have an electric engine pushing at a faster speed to really get the stuff that stuck in there. However like I said before, mold makes me rethink about using this. And not only that, but im not sure how viable this is if you only use water. I've read someone that if you just use water without a saline solution, it may burn your sinuses?
There's a way to hack this device to not use the overpriced SaltPodsTM things, so you could use distilled water, I was thinking about just using water, since I think what's most effective is just the water pushing the stuff out, and im generally paranoid about putting dodgy stuff in there so distilled water seems like the most neutral way to go, but is it ok to do it like that? do you really need the saline stuff?
I saw this video here:
Does the Navage Nose Cleaner actually work? This is exactly how to use the Navage Nose Cleaner... LOL! #teambalmert #comedy #productreview Subscribe: http:/...

And it seems kinda ridiculous. Is it hard to get used to? do you have to keep your mouth open? If you have to close your mouth, wouldn't the water come out there? I have post nasal drip, the stuff builds up on the nose, and I have to spit it out because it can eventually sort of go down the throat. I've heard someone say they managed to fix their post nasal drip after years of trying stuff, with this thing. Somehow got rid of the stuff that was being generated there or something.
I also saw this comment on that video:
"Only use distilled water, or you risk brain-eating organisms going through your nose into your brain."
Not sure if serious, but I would like to talk about this with someone that actually has studied this field and has tried the products.
