Any spare invites? Pm me.

Add your name to the spreadsheet. I have not gotten any invites yet. If people on my development group don't need them I'll share them here whenever they show up. If you sign up on one plus forums I hear they randomly give them out there too by member number.

I was wondering if it was just a glue setting issue when I first read about it. Seems to be a common issue for devices that are rushed from assembly to the consumer. The iPad 2 was notorious for it when it was first released.

Its possible even the newer ones are rushed. Or its possible they are using sucky screens.

I am curious to see how well it will sell when it's officially out. Right now demand is high because of the invite system, it's creating hype, the specs, and price.

How do you get someone to want something more? Easy..tell them they can't have it.

Of course, those also can flip it and they know it so there's also that.

I'm also curious to see employee reactions when I walk into metro pcs if I get a non problematic one plus and port over from Verizon.

Right now this thing is like a leprechaun, everyone has heard of it but not many have seen it.

Lol discussion about jeans and phones. I thought I walked into a room with my wife and all her girlfriends for a second there.

There you go again trying to vilify others for saying larger phones still fit inside jeans.
I never villified you for saying larger phones still fit inside jeans. I have an OPO. Do you? I think I would know how it fits. I'm villifying you because you immediately brought up wearing skinny jeans when they were concerned about size. It seems like every time someone brings up size, you get on the defensive. Is it wrong to have different opinions? Your definition of too large isn't the same as mine or anyone else's. Everyone has different preferences.

We stated large phones still comfortably fit normal jeans, NOT skinny jeans. No need to throw a hissy fit over something so trivial...

Why does anyone have to "admit" that OPO is more difficult to put into pocket than smaller devices? Is anyone claiming otherwise? I think you and yourself are arguing each other.

I notice how much you put down all Android devices including OPO. I have lost count how many times you complained about the yellow band issue. iPhone is your absolute favorite. We all know that. Also, who denied the OPO isn't on the large side? So please, if you want to argue, at the very least, don't put words in someone else's mouth.

You're putting words in my mouth. I never said the iPhone is my favorite. The OPO is my favorite phone at the moment. If you can't recognize issues in a phone at the moment, then you're just being biased.

I, like many other critical members have recognized the CM bugs, which is why I'm actively working on JIRA with CM developers to correct the software issues. That's exactly why I pointed out the 0801 nightly contains the commits to fix the microphone and speakerphone volume that CM has recognized is too low. If that's too much putting down of Android devices for you, then maybe you're not a tech enthusiast.

As for the yellow band issue, it IS an issue--and it depends on device to device. Its just not one that bothers me enough for me to return the phone. There's a lot of talk about it, but my point regarding it was that the magnitude of its effect varies dependent on how you use the capacitive vs. soft keys. It also varies part to part. Once again, you don't really care what I'm saying, just that if I'm mentioning a yellow band, it means I'm putting down Android.

Also for those who are following CM11 nightlies, the 0803 nightlies seem to have broken the notification bar quick access tiles for some themes. There's a fix along the way, but there's some discussion because some think overall the new auto/narrow/big/auto(narrow) resizing options are a bit borked.

Seriously dlerium. Do you have a life? People discussing about phones inside pants get you all worked up? All because someone suggest against skinny jeans?

Wow if OPO is your favorite phone then kudos to CM and One Plus. They have converted the biggest Apple lover on this board. After all, you have devoted yourself to complain about Android/Nexus 5 and rave about how perfect iPhones are. That's a big change.

Here is my advice to you. We know we both don't like each other. So don't start such ridiculous arguments. Take your own advice, is it wrong to have different opinions?

And no, I don't have a OPO cause its impossible to get an invite. I don't think it suddenly makes your little brother bigger either so no need to jab where it hurts.....crying myself a river.

I don't have any problem if you think a 5.5" phone is the right size. I don't have any problems with your personal thoughts on how a phone is for you, but lashing out saying something along the lines of "don't wear skinny jeans" when someone is concerned about the size of a phone isn't really just the same as "I'm comfortable with a 5.5" phone" is it?

I'm not trying to act bigger than you that I got an invite. My point was I do have one and my comments on the phone are based on my observations, not some random fanboy statement. If my observations about the phone make me an anti-Android person, then believe what you want.

Also, someone changed my status from Yes to No on invites. Why would anyone do such thing? That's extremely childish.

i carry all my phones in my back pocket or my front dress shirt pocket.
I have no problems with the different style pants.
With bigger phones I worry about the back pocket having some crushing effect, especially with a phone like this where the screen is protruding and the bezels are recessed. On a smaller phone like the iPhone its probably less risky, but the metal frame itself on the iPhone has seen bending before in other reports.

Front dress shirt pocket works fine for this phone although given its size it does stick out a bit for some shirts I wear.

Oh he was just recycling his anti Nexus 4 complaints and repackaged them for the 5. His internal CryOS reboots him into cranky recovery everytime he is about to be happy with a phone. He must have grown up a lot over time too. Way back ( if 2009 qualifies as way back) he was furiously protesting all devices over 3.5"

I'll take a look. Last time I checked someone somehow removed all the data selection dropdowns lol.

Seems I can't edit on the phone I'll try to do it once I arrive at work.

Of course, those also can flip it and they know it so there's also that.

I'm not sure why anyone would be buying one at this point just to flip the OnePlus One.

The phone costs $363.34 shipped.

Average sale price on Swappa is $425 with plenty selling for less than that. Swappa gets $10 of that and PayPal takes 3% of the total. Insured Priority Mail with Tracking and Signature Confirmation is running around $15 so you might make $25.

eBay sale of $500 might net you around $50. eBay takes 10%, PayPal 3% than your shipping cost.

Depends on if you believe a $25-$50 return is worth the effort, dealing with dumb questions, non-responsive buyers, etc.

When there were none available and a few sold for ridiculous prices it was a perfect opportunity to flip it. Now, IMO, not so much. Swappa typically has more than a dozen listed at any time and eBay is littered with them.

I love mine and it is a steal direct from OnePlus. I sold my Nexus 5 and Note 3 after using the OnePlus for a week. It is my only phone now.

There still are many unavailable because it's still on an invite basis. I do not know why people would want to go through the hassle of selling one for a small profit. I am buying purely since I want to stop paying Verizon $90 a month for one phone with a corporate discount. That and unlimited data will soon be throttled so I may as well save some money while I can.

Apparently my work blocks anything Google related like hangouts, drive, docs so I can't edit it. If anyone has access to it on a pc can you change openwheel's status from no to yes?

No worries I can have wife change it. She is the one who wants the OPO but has no luck on One+ forum. I suggested the OPO to her and she wants one badly.

Sounds good. Mine should arrive tomorrow. I will be able to mess with it and check it out but I won't be able to test calls and radio functionality unless I port on over from Verizon. If no screen issues I'll switch over before the end of my billing cycle.

Verizon charges ahead of time anyway and my current bill is due Monday so I'll have to pay it anyway. Mind as well mess with the phone as much as I can before making it primary.

Are you still looking for another invite? If not, do you mind changing your selection in the spreadsheet to no? I thought I was the next one up

Mine has been no for a while. Not sure what's going on with it as I can't change it on the phone or work pc. But I didn't change my status.

Edit: need to download Google sheets to edit it. Changed my status back to No.

I feel bad for this one guy on the forum over there. He ordered a one plus and got the Chinese version. Good luck to him trying to contact support and get an RMA. They only do refunds not replacements.

Hey can you check if the link is correct in the OP? I clicked on it to check if it works just now and it pops up with some weird "You've been signed out" prompt.

Make sure you send the link to share prompt because Google Docs is weird sometimes (we use it all the time in our nonprofit for collab)

Do you have anything to contribute to this discussion about the phone or no?

Insert anecdotal evidence here which is never scientific:

The N4's battery is terrible. Its not so much the capacity as it is the fact that the design is just bad (SoC and modem being separate) resulting in massive wakelocks.

The OPO is fantastic. As an N4 and N5 owner, I've never been impressed with battery. The OPO was just amazing. At Google I/O, 2.5 hours of SOT and an hour of tethering all on LTE (never wifi), I had like 52% battery left. That impressive. I use this phone however I want without ever conserving power during the day.

I wish Anandtech benchmarked it, but seeing how it got 66 hours on GSM Arena's endurance test, I'm pretty confident my personal observations about this phone make sense.
