Anyone excited for OnePlus?

Build date 7/11/14 and my yellow was VERY minimal or non-existent, I think my imagination made me see it when it's really not there. My wife and kids saw nothing when I asked them to evaluate the display (without telling them about the "issue").

Mine is 7/2/14 and if I turn on capacitive buttons so the area where the yellow is typically shown to be, crank brightness to 100% and open chrome to a white page and stare at it long enough I might be able to imagine a different color. I also burn my retinas out a I use Auto brightness so the only time it goes to 100% is in direct sunlight.

In all honesty, I do not see it on my phone at all and have done the same experiment with my kids and wife and none have had issues or noticed yellowing.

I use on screen buttons as the capacitive are backward for me as dim as can be anyway.

I grew used to the on screen button layout from my Nexus 5 so I am more comfortable and it's easier for one hand operation to have the back button on the left side of the screen.

Ha ha, sorry for being a dick, but these guys really asked for it with that tagline. I hope beta testing their product is fun.

As much as this pissed me off, you are right. The way they are handling the yellow issue is a joke. Don't get me wrong, I love the phone now, but what if I have an issue in a month of two?

After reading the one plus forums, I've learned that customer service seems to be close to zero. If you manage to get them to take your phone back, they were making people send it to China. My phone certainly didn't ship from China!! Why would they do that? I'm sure we all know the answer...

Awesome. It's a great relief that our families can't see the yellow eh?

I use the hardware buttons, I am holding the bigass phone, I want all the usable space I can get.

Yeah it is trolls and beggars and fanboys too. Well I'm on vacation starting next Friday and won't be back until September. So if I wanted to get a refund and eat the shipping I couldn't even do that because they take forever to get back to you. The first response is usually a week or two later and is a canned response anyway.

Yes and yes. And aesthetics and a slightly smaller size. It's just one of those almost inexplicable things with me, I just love the M8. I've held one, used it briefly, and dreamed about it ever since.

I'm currently using an m7. Love the build quality of it and I hear the m8 is bulkier. I've had sense 6 and android 4.4.3 on my m7 before it even came with the m8 so for me, it would be the same thing pretty much. I've had pretty much all htc phones that have been out so far.

Yeah once I was able to play my order yesterday, I jumped over to the forums to learn about tweaking the phone. Talk about useless.

Checked the xda forum for the OnePlus One and very quickly found what I needed - ratings of glass screen protectors and easy to understand instructions on how to unlock the BL, install TWRP, and root the phone.

Checked the xda forum for the OnePlus One and very quickly found what I needed - ratings of glass screen protectors and easy to understand instructions on how to unlock the BL, install TWRP, and root the phone.

Which screen protector did you opt for? I went with the Orzly ballistic glass and a cheapie Orzly case. It's coming from England so I have to wait another 2 weeks to get it.

You probably won't. Although build number may have nothing to do with it, those with 7-26 and seem to have no issues. If you ordered after me hopefully you get a good one.
