If anyone has an extra invite, I'd like to purchase one. Picking back up in some Android development and this seems like a nice platform to do so.

Haven't popped in here in a few days - after getting 33R and switching over to ART, it seems like my battery life has been better. I haven't really had any heavy use days though (it's never really that much for me...fb, a few texts, websites...I don't stream or listen to music on my phone) but on my light use days I could probably go ~3 days straight.

So I flashed the latest CM11 nightly, franco kernel and greenfied a bunch of apps (except whatsapp, fb messenger, doggcatcher).. I went almost 27 hours of run time, with about 3 hours of on screen time. I never ever got that much time out of my nexus 4. wow.

Note: I did not use much 3G data, i would assume the runtime would be much lower with that.

Still having occasional touchscreen issues though.

Even though battery life has decreased since the move to 4.4.4 from 4.4.2, its still better than most phones.

If you don't own a OPO, remember this. Also - it will probably improve with updates again. I think it has already with 33R.

Also, do you even have an OPO or are you just commenting on the device based on others' feedback?
Just watching... Verizon unlimited.

Wha? My S4 does that with nothing Greenified and wifi only on for location purposes. I hope this is subpar for the OPO because it's not what I'd expect from a current-gen phablet.

Mine definitely does better. I get around 4 hours of screen on time with ~20% battery left.

Battery life overall seems about the same as a debloated Note 3, i.e. better than a stock Note 3. Both are substantially better than my stock work S4. All these 2014 phones (S5, M8, OPO) seem to have battery life in the same ballpark.

I *think* standby time in the OPO is finally good with 33R, though not quite as good as the debloated Note 3. I could leave the Note 3 screen off at home (connected to wifi) for half the day and it would only drop a few percentage points. The OPO seems to drop a bit more when not in use, but not noticeably like the previous update.

Battery Life is far from a complaint in my view. It's better than most other phones I've owned. (Which is a lot of phones as Im sure some have noticed on here)

^ All this battery talk. We need objective benchmarks, and AFAIK most objective benchmarks show the OPO dominating.

Unfortunately there is no objective way to do battery tests that would actually be useful for the real world, as people use their phones differently and will have different experiences.

haha - just realized why I never notice the Yellow banding anymore. (Although to be honest, its very minimal on my phone)... I use the on screen buttons. (I prefer them).

Yeah - hahaha.

I just got my refund back. Wondering if I should maybe try again? I can't stand the yellow band issue at all but I do like the phone.

So, do you have a yellow band? If so, rate it on a 1 to 10 scale where 1 is barely palpable and 10 is insanely annoying.

I actually use the capacitive buttons, I want the extra screen space.

I would rate mine a 8-9 depending on what articles I would read.
Ouch. My screen has no yellow whatsoever, even a slight band would give me some irritation. Here's how OCD I am about my phone:

I got an Orzly ballistic glass screen protector for my OPO and installed it poorly - left to right - which resulted in two small bubbles somehow. I gently lifted the glass and re-applied it. No bubbles the second time, but in the corner where I lifted the glass there was a moon shaped discoloration. I couldn't get it to clear up so I ripped it off and threw it away. Another on order now.

Gave away my first invite and that person purchased a phone. Now got another invite if anyone wants. First person to respond/PM gets it.

I wonder how long it will be before I get shareable invites. I ordered the phone back at the end of July. I did send it back for refund but I don't know if that may have anything to do with the invites.
