So, how buggy are these things? I'm looking to get an unlocked phone for att straight talk and am thinking about this or the Huawei Ascend Mate 2. The latter seems a little too big, but its battery life is great and the reviews are good. The bugs on the OPO are making me wary...

Most bugs to me were addressed pretty quickly. The ghost typing went away for me also by 0913. I could argue typing still sucks but that's likely because the vibration motor sucks (but so do other phones like the Nexus 4 and 5 IMO).

But yeah. Overall, I find the phone excellent. Wake gestures are very important to me.

I've been running mine for several months now and only have one issue with it, when I do a pinch to zoom (or zoom out) the screen sometimes goes all crazy and then instantly jumps to maximum zoom.
Other then that one bug, which I bet they will fix eventually, it is a great phone.

My father, brother and sister are now all looking for invites after I showed them my phone over the past weekend.

They are all on the same cellular deal together (my father pays for it) and he wants to switch carriers for them all and wants to bring his own phones.

If anyone has any extra invites they will be put to good use. I added my requests to the spreadsheet.

Yep I love my phone. I experience no issues in my day to day use.

Plan on keeping it for quite a while. (Which would be considered 1-2 years for me haha)

What's the battery life like for real world use?

Also, you guys aren't having any issues with the touch screen?

Occasional blip with the touch screen while typing but nothing major for me. Another software issue that eventually will be fixed.

I am getting 4-5 hours of on screen time with my typical usage patterns.

I work 10 hour days, and use my phone lightly during that time, and then listen to audiobooks, surf the web, watch videos, and/or play games on my phone during my 1.5 hour commute both ways (I ride a train). So, I do about 3 hours of heavy use, and 10 hours of light use a day, plus probably an hour or so more of medium use in the evenings. I rarely have less then 25% battery left in the evening when I go to bed, most of the time it is more like 50-60%. I can easily go 2 days with out having to charge it if I don't watch too many videos.

yea mines been pretty rock solid except for the small dent on the corner ( sister in-law's fault ).
I'll keep mine unless someone else impresses me (Note 4 or maybe even nexus 6).
it they announce anything like the moto x i'll just keep it.

Battery is decent as long as you have the gestures off. So far I've only encountered one thing that bothers me which is a slightly unresponsive screen when I try to unlock my phone. Doesn't happen all the time though but so far so good. Some apps crash occasionally as well... Let's hope more software fixes come out making it even more stable.

Really? The gestures still give me good battery life (sub 1%/hr)

yea same here~ battery life is slightly worse than what I originally had since the 3 updates. But it's still pretty good.

I unplug at 6:00-6:15am use it throughout the day in the office, listen to music and catch up on my tv shows, 2 exchange 1 gmail twitter fb candy crush and browsing. At the end of the day i'm at like 50-60%

Then rinse and repeat on my way to the bus station from the office and follow suit on the bus ride back home and i'm at like 35-45%

I'm back on the Nexus 5 and it feels terrible. That battery drain. The need to baby battery.

Bought another OPO today. Rage impulse buy.

Haha I know what you mean. I've been on and off one plus flipping it if a good deal comes around and every time I come back to it. It's an amazing phone. Price/feel/performance nothing matches it.

FML. Tried everything I could to make my Mic work during calls. No dice. I rely on my phone heavily for work. Opened a ticket.

My phone is going on 23 hours of mid use and I'm at 34% right now. Significant improvements were had for me by switching to ART, but I'm a heavy app user for work.

damn that sucks~ hopefully you can get this sorted sooner than later.
You said it works when it's on speakerphone but not when you're using it next to your head right ?
