I know they opted for optional capacitive buttons, but to me this was a fail move. They could've made the phone smaller given that it's too big for many at 5.5". Not to mention they brought back the menu button lol.

AWS compatible for 3G and T-Mobile LTE compatible:Any mentions of the radio bands? LTE on T-Mobile and I will buy this in a heartbeat.

Any pics around of it with the capacitive buttons lit up and in use?

On another note, I know I'm someone who's been pushing for a "Nexus" without compromises, well I think this is the real shot across the bow. While OnePlus is also targetting Samsung, Apple, etc. for competition, I think this phone shows Google what should've been done. While I understand that Google may have been tied up with LG and forced to release something that doesn't compete with the OEM's own phones, OnePlus is showing us that not only can they cram all the features in, they can do it for a lower price. This may be the phone for me.

Yeah I'll admit I've been pushing capacitive buttons too, and I like them, but I'm a bit meh about the non-standard layout.
If this is confirmed to work with at&t LTE, I'm in.
I'd love to get one, but my Nexus 5 isn't exactly old.
at&t uses bands 4 and 17 and it supports both

Phone is too big and they either need to get rid of the capacitive buttons, or make a version for those that don't want them. So much for their "Never Settle" campaign. This phone still has compromises in many aspects.AWS compatible for 3G and T-Mobile LTE compatible:

I think this phone is an excellent upgrade for those coming from a Nexus 4.I'm definitely going to replace my nexus 4 with the 64gb version. Having LTE+better battery life and a better camera and way more storage pretty much checks off all the points I was looking for in an upgrade, and the price seals it. May have to wait a while to get one but at least that will let me see if there are any major problems with it.
If they removed those damn capacitive buttons that I will never use, the phone can be smaller for those who are going to enable the soft buttons anyway.Turn off the damn buttons and you can have your soft buttons. The chin of this isn't particularly huge anyway when you look at the HTC One (M8) that so many fall over themselves to say the chin is not really that huge and is actually necessary.
I wish the phone were smaller though. Considering it's unlikely I'll be able to get an invite, I'll just have to put it on the backburner.
