Yeah I had the 1+1 for about 1 1/2 months and it was good. I did have the occasional hiccup with the unresponsive screen upon trying to hit my pin to unlock the phone but other than that the phone was pretty darn fast etc. Battery was good, screen was good, size compared to my note 2 was a lot smaller in profile etc. and the 64gb of space is just pure awesomeness. I sold mine because I was getting a note 4.. which i did and returned to tmobile because it was bloated and battery life sucked and it lagged like a mofo.

As for the HTC ONE M8 I've been wanting to try it for a while and was lucky to buy it new unlocked/developers edition for $299 from HTC directly. Let's hope the battery life is decent! I'm going to say the phone with the best battery that I've had so far is my LG G2... love it and it's seems to be a good size too for one handed use.

Chrono, let me know what your impressions are... From reading threads on the OPO site, they are pretty close. Seems like HTC has optimized the battery life a lot.... And much better touchscreen than OPO... might be a winner for me.

one issue I noticed with 44S. Volume rocker does not respond sometimes. I need to screen on screen off a few times to get it to work again.

I don't recall it being discontinued per se, just that they realized the majority of demand was for the 64 and focused production that way.

Not sure of prices elsewhere, but last I looked on Swappa I wouldn't bet much on flipping. The ones that are selling can't be clearing much after fees, and the ones that are set high enough to be worth it don't seem to be selling.

It will be a huge upgrade from the Nexus 4. Improvements in every category as long as you like a bigger phone.

Flipping is not going to make you much if anything especially after the BF deal as there will be a lot more out in the market.

It is a great phone for the price and really has no equal for an unlocked phone purchased outright.

They hadn't even started producing the 16GB yet outside of review samples and whatever invite demand. OnePlus wanted to focus starting production on the 64GB since they knew the demand would be much higher.

I upgraded from the Nexus 4. Good phone but I love the OPO. Except for Cyanogenmod needing time to release a Lollipop build, the OPO is better in every way.
