Effffin A - I love this phone. No joke.
I don't know why I ever left Android for a 5s.
it's slick and definitely nice for the price. 64gb is a huge plus as well for 350
I may have spoken too soon. I copied over some videos and the phone became quite hot and they yellow screen on the bottom has become nearly unbearable. It was sort of unnoticeable when I first started using it, but now is a strong yellow...
Gonna do the sunlight thing tomorrow. It's pretty bad. :'(
I never heard this scenario before. Usually the unlucky individual is slammed immediately by the yellow stripe of death (YSOD?) and then most of the time it either goes away slowly on it's own or quickly with sunlight/UV lamp exposure OR it just never goes away.I may have spoken too soon. Relatively lightly used during this time but high accuracy location setting was always on, no wifi used at all, LTE connection used only and it includes 17 hours at work, a location with areas of blocked cell coverage. About 15 minutes of youtube video, mostly browsing, emailing and texting, less than 10 minutes of talking on the phone.
I'm impressed.
Agreed, I'm sure he could. But this brings up a question I've had in my mind for a while now, why not just test the phone with all the bells and whistles ON the way you might normally use the phone and see how long it lasts in that fashion? I think that's far more telling than turning everything off and barely touching it.Yea that doesn't look too shabby at all. I think you may have gotten a lot more out of it with the high accuracy turned off

I wish I had taken pics, but after the first week of usage and "conditioning" I did this with my OPO. Took it off the charger at 5AM and just hammered the phone all day long. Just before I put it back on the charger at 10:45PM it was down to about 15% (can't remember the exact percentage). And I used the hell out of the phone. Calls. YouTube. Hangouts messaging. Facebook Messenger. Facebook. GMail. Corporate email (Exchange). Podcasts (audio). MP3 playback (Poweramp). All day long. My configuration at the time was CM11S XNPH25R with Google Now Launcher and two active widgets (Podcast Republic and Poweramp). I think I may try this again soon to see if the battery life has changed significantly under XNPH30O.

Sorry man.
This morning it looks fine...I left it on my window sill today, I'll see what happens. I'll probably keep the phone either way, and give it some time and RMA in a few weeks if it doesn't settle.
Anyone have experience with nano-micro adapters? Need one for my SIM.
I bought the SimDevil kit DLeRium recommended earlier in the thread. I want to keep my nanosim card active as I have a Moto X that I like to use occasionally (and my employer owns the line). This morning it looks fine...I left it on my window sill today, I'll see what happens.
