I can never tell if its the placebo effect or not, but this seemed to have helped some of the touchscreen issues. I'll keep an eye on it the rest of the night.

-----------
By reading history of this thread, I found a simple fix proposed by Harska K on 1st August, work flawlessy for me! Now I'm able both to digit fast and to use multitouch while the phone is on the table too (Root required):
From Phone:
1. Install a terminal (like Android Terminal Emulator)
2. Open, type "su". Ensure it says root@A0001 or something like that.
3. Paste this command in: cat /sys/class/input/input0/baseline_test
4. Press enter.
5. Should be done, no need to reboot.
From Computer:
1. Plug phone in, enable debugging.
2. sudo adb shell (if linux, don't know about Windows)
3. cd /sys/class/input/input0
4. cat baseline_test
when you reboot I think you'll need to do again all the steps, but in order to get rid of this it's enough to create a file in /system/etc/init.d called "99Touchscreen" with the following text
#!/system/bin/sh
cat /sys/class/input/input0/baseline_test
and then change its permission to "rwx r-x r-x". Now the fix is applied at every boot and touchscreen works perfect for me!
