Keep in mind things like Active Display aren't going to work on the OPO. I mean, they can work but you need an AMOLED display to really take advantage, it would be quite the battery hog on an LCD display.

What exactly does active display do? Is that like the new moto x where it wakes up if you say something to it?

That's touchless control I believe, which was in the original Moto X.

Active Display works like this. When you get a notification, the icon related to the notification will dimly pulse on the display, or if you pick up your phone it will show it too. You can then choose to dismiss the notification or go straight to the app by swiping left or right. So you can see what notification you have, and then deal with it without actually turning on your phone's screen thanks to how AMOLED works (only the necessary pixels light up and use power, black pixels are off).

For me it was one of the reasons why I felt the Moto X had pretty good battery life despite it's not so big battery. Being able to dismiss notifications without turning the screen on was nice.

That's pretty cool I think the nexus 6 has that so it will be cool to try it out. Never knew about this feature.

I know that one won't work exactly the same without a big battery hit, but the battery life is great on the OPO to begin with and I could get decent life even while using something like ACDisplay (which I tested previously).

Well, I manually flashed 38 R earlier this week and was unhappy with the "fix" to the touch screen (requires more pressure, doesn't always pick up everything) and them nuking Amazon music so I restored back to 33R. For some reason, I finally made a backup right before 38R whcih made it simple.

And what's crazy is that the 6+ does not have a small display, but next to the Nexus 6 it looks like it does!

Yeah I had an OPO but all the bugs made me sell it off quick. My smartphone is my phone, my GPS, my email, etc. I want a device that runs well and looks nice, and the OPO did not run well.

OPOs bugs are not that bad, I am going to have to RMA my first phone but for the price i am very happy.

My N4 was about as buggy as this.

What bugs are people experiencing and have they gotten better?

Mostly touchscreen issues, some antenna issues, a lot of people having bad screens (yellow banding) and app compatibility

Yep. The OPO and I didn't last long after the network connectivity issues, that is something I simply can not tolerate.

I'm wondering if that's what I'm having issues. I use data a lot on the road (Square) and it doesn't like switching between LTE and 3g or lower.

My issues were pretty noticeable, I would lose all cellular connectivity, no LTE, no 3G, no Edge/1x. After a reboot it would immediately connect.

Did you have Wifi during the issue? I've seen that a few times, and if anything it screams IMEI issues. I think something about the partition gets messed up but then recompiles or fixes itself the next boot.

Last time it said IMEI is unknown, and I flipped out, but a reboot solved it all.

Mine does the same. Sucks when I have to reboot in front of a customer because the phone acts stupid

The only bug I've run into is it's hard to paste. Long pressing will highlight text instead of showing the paste option.

Anyone have another invite floating around? Replacing my broken one instead of repairing it.

I have an invite, but do I just PM to the member at top of the list? Some of them have not been active for months.

I'd like an invite too, if someone has one, please PM, otherwise the bots pick it up if you post it publicly. How does it work, do you need a different invite for the 64G model? I want that one. Thanks.

All the US/global models are 64gb. The 16gb model is only for the Chinese version.
