Anyone try any of the mattress cooling solutions out there? I seem to be either sleeping hotter or getting less tolerant of it and the options range from $150 fans to $3k mattresses that circulate water. Right now I have a latex mattress and have been waking up to roll over to a cooler spot. I'm guessing the fan options would probably be the least effective but I'm hesitant to drop $500 on the hopes that it helps

Hmm - reddit has some unkind reviews about wires and connectors failing on the Pod after 16 months and being SOL due to a 1 year warranty. So thats probably not a good option

No personal experience, but a member of "the site which shall not be mentioned," and is also a member here swears by the bedjet.

This is something I have been curious about too, and also reluctant to gamble so much money on something that might not work. Maybe I should cobble together a temporary fan system to test out that concept. Actually, I would be happy with a cooling system for just my pillows. I'll be interested to see what others have to say. 👍

Is a window AC unit an option for the bedroom?
So it's really just whatever part of my body that's in contact with the mattress for a long time that gets hot so I was looking for something a bit more targeted. Maybe I'll suck it up and try one or two out. Their return policies seem reasonable although I expect return shipping to annoying

Spread dry ice on the bed before going to bed. Best part is the CO2 will make you fall asleep faster!

Seriously though it's probably easier to just cool the room, I would put an AC unit. Before I got central air I would bring my portable in the bedroom if it was too hot.

For the money you are willing to spend, you could get a new mattress. Out of curiosity how attached are you to the latex?

That member would be me. The BedJet is worth every single penny. Ask away, folks. The bFan is a cheap imitation IMO; the BedJet has heating and cooling.

You would be surprised at how well a fan under the covers cools you. I was skeptical too but even in my hot bedroom, I sometimes get too cold with the BedJet fan going.

If you don't mind hardness, an air hockey table may tickle your fantasies!

Thinking about tiny holes with air blowing out of them (air hockey table) it would be neat to have a mattress that had thousands of tiny capillaries carrying hot or cold air depending on season to make you comfortable. Even a fart zone that could reverse and you know, suck out the gas!

I've got a friend who just got the bedjet and said it's life changing for him. His sleep quality (as given by a whoop band) has gone up like 20-30%.
