anyone feels tired of iphone after 3 or 4 months?

I was excised about the iPhone when 3GS comes out and bought it....fell in love with it but after few months of use...I feel like I am bit tired of email problem with iphone...for example..my friends sent me emails my iphones doesn't vibrate when it arrives...I called Apple Tech support I thought it was defective but the tech said it will beep sound when the email arrives at same time but not vibrate. my friends complained I am like slow to reply email...there is no option to check email every 5 minutes only to check every 15 minutes. and also Yahoo or AIM has problem with push notification with vibration...Maybe Driod will make my life happy?

It doesn't really matter what phone you get, after a while the newness wears off and whatever shortcomings that particular phone has will become greater annoyances. I believe this is the reason I have been through three phones in the last six months(Tour->Pre->Hero). Before I just dealt with it but now that I am at a point in my life I can afford it I switch them out quite often.

If you are looking for a new phone you could certainly do worse than the Droid. Other than the odd keyboard it seems to be a killer phone. It would be my pick if I could move to Verizon.

Time to jailbreak. After having a 3G and and 3GS it got really stale and the shortcomings of the iPhone OS really got on me. After a jailbreak it has been the perfect phone for me. Intelliscreen, SBSettings, Winterboard, Backgrounder, and 3G Unrestrictor are all must haves IMO.

Beejive IM started on the BlackBerry. I've had a full device independent licence for years, but yes, it's great.

You could get an app called Notifier that you can setup to vibrate or beep or do both every 1/2/5/10 minutes for however long. You do need to be jailbroken though.

The only thing you have to worry about with 3GS JB is the tethered JB. If you have a week lower than 40 you should be good. That being said, mine is week 43 and I have no tethered JB issue.

Look at the digits 3,4,5 of your 11-digit serial number.
Digit 3 = the year it was made, and the other two are the week.

of course you still will. jailbreaking just basically roots the phone so you can install anything you want on it, but it still lets you do the same old stuff as before.
