I got an internship offer, and it will most likely be in Findlay, Ohio.
I like the small town environment..as long as I have internet access. How will the weather be from January to May? Anything there for a 20 year old to do?

I'm not from Findlay, but I'm from Ohio... the weather will be *cold* between January and May. Cold include freezing rain, hail, snow, tons of ice, etc. Or none of the above -- it all varies. The general coolness of the winter air doesn't go away until mid-April to mid-May, and then returns in mid- to late-September.
If Findlay is like most of the other small towns in Ohio, then no, nothing for a 20 year old to do.

Well I figured that was a given.
The only thing I've found so far is fishing. There's a big reservoir next to the city full of fish.

Are you working for Whirlpool or Marathon? I don't think there is much else. A long-ago ex was from Findlay. I think they have 3 bars. Ben Rothlesberger is from Findlay.

We used to take small road trips to Findlay, Fostoria, and Napoleon.
This was in the early 70s.... there was nothing to do then, and it probably hasn't changed for the better.
Even the land is flat and boring!
Congrats on the job!

According to my wife, you'll also have to get used to the "Ohio grey". That was the biggest adjustment for her when we moved to Ohio. She was surprised at how often it's overcast during the winter months. I grew up in Ohio so I didn't think anything of it.

Yeah, it sucks. I seems like 3/4's of our winter is just pure grey, and it's like a massive, four month long buzzkill haha.

I really didn't notice until my wife said something about it always being grey. Personally, I love fall & winter so the overcast skies are a non-issue for me.
