that's not even brag worthy.
i had a 2mi commute into/out of DTLA that sometimes took 30+ mins
accident on 101 = DTLA on lockdown

Im about to take a job in El Segundo by LAX. Im curious how bad is that traffic/commute in the morning going southbound from Santa Clarita/San fernando valley, and back. My hours would likely be 6:30 or 7 to 4/4:30?
Is it bumper to bumper every morning and afternoon? or only when there are accidents?
Buy a motorcycle as soon as you get to Cali..

Well, that's just not true... maybe Carson, but Torrance is very family-oriented in many areas and Gardena is up-and-coming with all the Asians moving in.All those places have gone in the gutter. If you're looking for cheap sure go there but I would never want to live in those places.
You could look up google maps and hit the traffic button around the times you want to know.
If it's red or a red dotted line it'll be bumper to bumper most likely.
google maps traffic updates suck. Try the local state / Dept. of Highway & traffic website first
Sigalert.com is pretty good.

Get Sirius and listen to Howard Stern.
I listen to AM talk radio on the drive to DTLA every day.
