Anyone get an E5200 yet?

Did anyone get an E5200 over the weekend? Where are the reviews for it?

not really, but heard some dude clocked it to about 4, but that's ES probably, see how these regular versions do. I wonder if they are based on the new E0 stepping or not. Not too much info for them yet. I'm sure in a few weeks we can see a bunch reviews/benchmarks/bragging marks here and there. Also I'm curious about the Q8200s. wonder how they perform. But at their current 230 price, doubt q8200s can sell too well.

I'm staring at the box right now. I'm going to undervolt it and drop it into my WHS replacing the celeron 430. I want a faster processor to handle HD transcodes

For the nth time : does it have SSE4.1 ?

Haven't received a proper reply yet.

The spec also says :

These parts have Extended Stop Grant State (C2E) enabled.
These parts have Deep Sleep State (C3E) enabled.
These parts have Deeper Sleep State (C4E) enabled.

Same stepping as e7200, but the e7200 does not have the above.

NoobyDoo, I think all report I heard there's no SSE4 on this one. Nor will most people on this price bracket miss it much.

I think it does virtualization though. At least that's what newegg's site says.
Of course at $90 I'd rather get the e7200 for just 10 bucks more on sale since it does do 4.1 though no virtualization. It will be at least a few months before the 5200 goes down in price.

I asked the guy at microcenter if they carried the E5200. He couldn't find it, so he looked up a preview on the internet, when I showed him it had a 12.5x multi, he was stoked. He mentioned he was into overclocking as well.

So I'm patiently waiting for this to appear at MC, hopefully they will undercut NewEgg's price by $10 or so. Such a sweet CPU, I might not be able to wait for it.

I have my e8400 at 4.2 in my main. Why would I need to clock this monster up?

Besides, it's such a pain to remove the TRUE just to test out a new processor that I don't intend to o/c!

edit: If I can find time on Sunday I'll try it out.

I'd buy one but I'm way to busy to mess with it right now. I'm in the mist of some serious deadlines along with the woman and if I had my PC apart and heatsinks and thermal grease going on a weekend I'd have some explaining to do.
