eforcity.com has car chargers for like $4 or $5.
when my omnia got toasted they gave me a 3 pack because they didnt have any singles. they gave me the same argument at first, and i told them that i had already bought the screen protectors from them, and if they couldnt get mine off the defective phone they needed to give me a replacement. didnt take too much to get them to give me a new one. hell, didnt take much to get them to pay for overnight shipping either. mebbe the store you went to just sucks at that stuff.
Anyone getting random reboots? I know this is a known issue but mine isn't constant. I am contemplating returning it for a new one at this point before my 30 days are up.

I was getting reboots approximately every 48 hours, but when I uninstalled the "TasKiller" app the reboots stopped. My current uptime is over 67 hours.

I was under the assumption that they would replace it within the first 30 days no questions asked but not after a full year. I've read lots of people racing to get theirs replaced before this 30 day time period. I'm not saying you're wrong but trying to clarify.
furthermore, mine isn't a constant 'crasher/rebooter' as I've seen lots of posts about. Most say when theirs crashed it shows the white motorola logo and that their phones crashed constantly. Mine has only done it 4 or 5 times total in the 2 weeks I've had it. Everyone with a crasher is telling me not to even bother and get it replaced but I don't know if mine is really 'that bad' or in the same pile.
An educated guess is that a batch of these has bad physical memory on them which causes the crash. It would be REALLY helpful if they provided a kernel dump or crash log for this phone when it dies. I downloaded the SDK, I'm going to see if there's any way to get one.
Mine only crashed twice and stopped after I got rid of TasKiller, so I doubt that mine has an issue with physical memory.
Anyone know of an App that activates the screen when the screen is touched and displays the swipe code without having to hit the power button, I find it annoying that there are two steps to activate your phone and I found an app that eliminates the slider screen but I'd rather eliminate the need for a button press.
That would defeat the purpose of a lock button... keeping the phone in your pocket would activate the touch screen.
And as I say that, it is this morning that I realize I might just indeed have a dead pixel. Thankfully, it is in the bottom right corner. If it weren't glass I'd try the rub the pixel technique, but regardless, it's in the least annoying spot it could be in, so there is a positive way to look at this problem.
