My name is Grzegorz Lisowski. I am the member of SETI team TRIBAR.
It was polish team. Now it is not. Now we have members from 37 different
countries.

During last year our team become almost 20 times bigger.
Now we have more than 370 members,
and we are at about 100 position of all Seti teams in the world.

I want to invite you, would you like to join us?
Let's build big, good, international team.

I want you to know, we don't process all that WU just to take good places in
rankings. We all want to find if there is any Extraterrestian Inteligence
out there or not.

Of course being in a team like this, rankings, stats give lot of fun to many
fo us.

Hey, Assimilator1.

I'm still alive, I got sucked into that whole simcountry thing, plus I got preoccoupied with other things. But I check the stats from time to time. I'll hafta try to get back more often. I still got a machine cranking out seti units for TA. But I was really crushed by the demise of gamma flux, which I really liked.

Anybody wanna clue me in to what would be the most effiecient use of an Athlon classic 950?

I did report this spam to spamcop, but I haven't gotten any feedback. No surprises there, As I doubt anyone is paying attention to spamcop anymore.

So nobody else got this spam? I wonder how I was selected? Does The Seti people not have rules against it?

Personal opinion:

I would not be so hard on this guy. He is obviously trying to bring more people into his team and therefore garner more fun for both the team and those people that choose to join it. There's lots of people that aren't in teams that might be flattered by an invitation to join. The project and the people would both gain in such cases. He doesn't seem to be sending to millions of nameless addressees as a real spammer does.

This team has at times utilised a "broad email out" concept to past members to invite them to once again rejoin the team effort. Unsolicited email isn't automatically spam. I don't know how many people he may have mailed or how he chose them, but if receiving an invitation to join a Seti team was the worst thing to happen to me this year - I'd be pretty darn pleased.

Actually when I reported an abuser using 'Tiscali' & I got a response from them(through the double blind emails) saying thanks for letting us know.........mind you that was probably 1 in a hundred!.

Re you email ,its not showing in your SETI profile is it?
Good hear you are still about ,& I reckon you should crunch SETI with that Athlon 950
