Anyone got HP Spectre x360 hands-on user experiences/opinions?

Anyone out there own an HP Spectre x360? What's your experience been with it as far as performance and build quality?

I was thinking about getting one but I've seen several support forum reports of issues with screens breaking, motherboards needing replacing, heat issues, no coming out of sleep mode, etc. I can't get a good read if this is end user caused damage, maybe early Windows 10 bugs, etc.... or whether the laptop line has regular issues.

Anyone got any hands-on experience with it?

The silence speaks volumes... you're probably better looking at a Lenovo Yoga 900 if you'd like 2-in-1 system in that vein.

I recently purchased a 2 in 1 laptop and prior to that had done a lot of research. I found one website(http://www.ultrabookreview.com/9112-lenovo-yoga-hp-spectre/) where one or 2 users had all sorts of complaints about both the HP Spectre and Lenovo 900. Admittedly some of them were nit picky, like blemishes in the paint. Granted if I pay pay 1K for something, I expect it to be pretty perfect, but something like that doesn't make the system perform any worse.

I've watched a lot of reviews and the reviews say both are good but I've also seen a lot of forum posts regarding the HP that I can't decide whether they are user created problems or whether they are from the factory problems

I dunno, I have HP Spectre (Broadwell based) and I like it a lot. I was deciding between HP and Dell XPS 13, ultimately, XPS 13 was more expensive at the time when configured with 8MB RAM, it had that annoying content adaptive brightness that could not be disabled until very recently, and 1080p wasn't touchscreen (minor problem). I'm not a huge fan of HPs, but this one they made pretty good, reportedly they were working with Microsoft to make a Mac competitor.

Lenovo has scared me away with the SuperFish scandal and the tendency to put RGBW pentile panels in some laptops, yoga pro 2 I think, Flex 2 1080p I know for sure - it had noticeable sharpness problems with text that you don't expect on a 14" with a proper 1080p.
